What is a Deal Jacket?
A Deal Jacket is a shareable, branded vehicle package — photos, video, condition, history, and pricing in a single link you can send by text, email, or social.
How do I publish my first jacket?
Create your account, complete your dealer profile, then open the app and tap Publish. A shareable link is ready in seconds.
Do I need the iPhone app?
Yes — publishing and inventory management happen in the DealJacket iPhone app. The website is where buyers view jackets you share.
Plans and billing
What does Starter include?
Starter is free and includes 3 Deal Jackets so you can experience DealJacket end-to-end — professional dealer branding, photos, documents, and a short video on each jacket. Edits and sharing are unlimited.
How much do Pro and Dealer Unlimited cost?
Pro is $34.99 CAD / month and includes 25 new Deal Jackets per month plus watermarks, request pages, analytics, premium branding, and the Instagram Story Creator. Dealer Unlimited is $59.99 CAD / month and removes monthly caps entirely.
How does Dealer Unlimited work?
Dealer Unlimited removes monthly caps and unlocks premium branding, watermarks, request pages, the highest video allowance, and the Instagram Story Creator. It's billed monthly in CAD and can be cancelled anytime.
What is the Instagram Story Creator?
The Instagram Story Creator turns a published Deal Jacket into a polished 9:16 vehicle image that you can preview, customize and share from your phone. It's included with Pro and Dealer Unlimited. DealJacket does not automatically post to Instagram — you share the generated image yourself.
What is Pilot Access?
Selected pilot dealers receive full Dealer Unlimited access at no cost during the pilot period. Your listings, branding, and data remain intact if you later subscribe.
Seller requests
How do buy-request links work?
Send a customer a private request link. They complete a guided mobile intake — photos, VIN, condition, and asking price — and the submission appears in your DealJacket app.
Do customers need an account?
No. Sellers open the link on their phone and submit everything without signing up.
Privacy
Who can see my jackets?
Only people you share the link with. Jackets are unlisted by design and never indexed publicly by search engines.
Where is my data stored?
